Srinagar 17 November (KNB): Two matches were played on Wednesday in an ongoing NIFF Youth Football League 2021 at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium Srinagar.
A statement issued here said that the first match of the day was played between Budgam FA & D.P. Dhar FA Srinagar which ended in a goalless draw sharing a point each. On the occasion, Chief Guest of the match was Javed Sofi and Man of the Match was awarded to Junaid Hamid.
It further said that the Second Match of the day was played between Etihad FA Pulwama & Kashmir Avengers FA that also ended in a 2-2 draw. Chief Guest of the match was Mir Nazir Ahmed and Man of the Match award was given to goal scorer for Eithad Musharaf who scored both the goals.
However, for Kashmir Avengers Basir scored both the goals. “Both the Man of the Match awards carry ₹1500/- of cash and a memento which is being sponsored by New JK Roadways.
It was further said that the League is the first of its kind of initiative taken by NIFF for providing ample platform to junior age group players.
The Youth Football League is being organised by NIFF J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council and is being sponsored by New JK Roadways, supported by Kashmir Monitor, JK Stories, Color Curve and Frisk Film Production as League broadcasters and Department of Health J&K. (KNB)
