Trio Members of Nomad Family Died in Landslide Incident in Tral 

Srinagar 23 October (KNB): In the wake of continuous rainfall in J&K, a landslide incident took lives of three members of a nomad family in South Kashmir Tral’s Noorpora area on Saturday.

As per reports, a temporary shelter under which the family members of a nomad had been taking refuge got buried under a huge chunk of the bund, resulting in grave injuries to four members of the nomad family.

Following the incident, police started the rescue operation and recovered all the stucked members of the family from the debris. 

However, among the total injured, only one sustained and three other injured died in a hospital. 

To prevent an incident like this, the MeT department had already advised people to not roam and be in risk prone areas, which are susceptible to landslides. (KNB)
