Sopore 23 October (KNB): A 12-year old orphan girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging self to death in north Kashmir’s Sopore village.
The teenage girl(name withheld) resident of Botingoo area of Sopore, was rushed to the hospital by her family after she had hanged self at her residence.
Hospital Officials stated that the minor girl was declared dead on arrival.
A police official said that so far the reason to commit suicide by the girl are unknown, though a case has been registered in the relevant section and further investigation has been taken up.
Shockingly, this is the second suicide case in Sopore this week, as on Wednesday evening a 12-year-old, class 8th student of Ahadbab crossing, jumped into the river from bypass bridge. (KNB)
