Qazigund 27 April (KNB): A speedy truck hit and killed a traffic constable during the morning hours in Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Officials said that a traffic constable identified as Abdul Majeed Tantray son of Ali Mohammad Tantray, resident of Baramulla was hit and killed by a speedy truck in the morning, resulting in the cop’s on spot death.
However, officials said that driver of the truck involved in the incident, identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi was arrested afterwards.
Officials added that a case under relevant section of law has been registered. (KNB)
