Srinagar 10 July (KNB): One more unidentified militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter in South Kashmir’s Kawarigam area of Anantnag on Saturday , taking a toll to 3, said police.
As per police another militant has been killed in the encounter following the killing of two militants, which was earlier confirmed by the official on the saturday afternoon.
Furthermore, the identification of slain militants as of now remains to be known but the officials have confirmed that the three militants have been killed so far in the encounter.
Earlier officials said that the encounter started after search and cordon was carried out by a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF after the inputs about the presence of the militants in the area.
However, police further said that the operation is still going on in the area. (KNB)
