Budgam 8 June (KNB): Police on Tuesday said that news about hideout busted and Over Ground Worker (OGW) arrested by security forces in central Kashmir’s Budgam district is Fake.
Budgam Police said that a fake news with regard to a hideout having been busted and OGW arrested by forces in district Budgam is doing rounds on social media.
“The news is refuted by Budgam Police as no such hideout has been busted/person arrested in district Budgam,” officials said.
Officials further said that strict action under law shall be taken against people posting unconfirmed news on self styled News Networks. (KNB)
