Srinagar 8 June (KNB): India reported 86,498 novel coronavirus cases in last 24 hours which is the lowest in 66 days and recorded less than 1 Lakh mark in 63 days. With 2,123 fatalities due to the deadly virus across the country, the total death toll reached to 3,51,309, the Ministry of Health said.
As per the Health Ministry data, India’s active caseload has further declined to 13,03,702 as the active cases decreased by 97,907 in last 24 hours.
Moreover, with recovery of 1,82,41,462 Covid-19 patients during the last 24 hours, the total recoveries has reached 2,73,41,462 across the country.
The Health Ministry said that the recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily Covid Cases for the 26th consecutive day. The recovery rate has increased to 94.29% and the Weekly Positive Rate stands currently at 5.94 %.
As per the Health Ministry, daily positive rate is at 4.62 % and has been less than 10 % for 15 consecutive days. (KNB)
