Srinagar 21 October (KNB): Pilot ejected unscathed after Mirage 2000 aircraft suffered an accident during training sortie on Thursday morning, said Indian Air Force in a tweet.
As per IAF’s tweet, during a training sortie, the aircraft experienced a technical malfunction, resulting in an accident.
However, IAF said that the pilot in the aircraft ejected unscathed. It further said that an inquiry to ascertain the cause behind the accident has been ordered.
“An IAF Mirage 2000 aircraft experienced a technical malfunction during a training sortie in the central sector this morning. The pilot ejected safely. An Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident,” tweeted IAF. (KNB)
