Srinagar 01 October (KNB): Meteorological department on Friday said that there will be light to moderate rainfall at scattered places of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory till third of this month.
It was said by MeT official in its latest weather update that the scattered places of J&K UT is going to receive light to moderate rainfall till third October i.e. Sunday.
However, it was further said that the weather is likely to remain dry after Sunday, the official said this while giving an update of weather in J&K for next one week.
Regarding the chances of major rainfall or snowfall in the valley, the official categorically ruled out any chances of it till the 10th of October. “No forecast of any major rain/snowfall till 10th Oct,” said the official in the weather update on Friday morning.
However, with regard to the present weather conditions in J&K, it was said that “currently, weather is partly to generally cloudy at many places of J&K with brief spell of rain at scattered places.” (KNB)
