Srinagar 21 October (KNB): Govt of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday in a notification said that Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha, who is conferred with powers under Article 309 of Indian Constitution, made a few amendments in J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service Recruitment (JKSSSR) Rules 2009.
The notification reads that “In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Lieutenant Governor hereby makes the following amendments in the Jammu and Kashmir Secretariat (Subordinate) Service Recruitment Rules, 2009.”
The notification from the government titled the amendments in the JKSSSR Rules 2009 as ‘Schedule I’ and in its below reads that “In S. No. 2, for the figures “88” appearing under the heading “No. of posts”, the figures “91” shall be substituted, in S. No. 6, for the figures “165” appearing under the heading “No. of posts”, the figures 185″ shall be substituted and in S. No. 11, for the figures “415” appearing under the heading No. of posts”, the figures 463″ shall be substituted. (KNB)
