Srinagar 26 June (KNB): A teenage boy from Kupwara committed suicide in Srinagar after jumping off cement bridge into the Jhelum river last evening.
The deceased boy belongs to Kupwara district and was living in Kawdara, Srinagar on rent. He has been identified as Saqib Ahmad, 17, who was studying in 11th class.
Before committing suicide, the deceased also recorded a video in which he ask for forgiveness from his parents. The recording of the video before suicide matches with the boy who had taken his life in similar fashion recently though the content of the videos differs.
It is pertinent to mention that a few suicides have already been witnessed committed from the cement bridge, certainly a place where authorities need to come up with some solution to it, as per locals. (KNB).
