KNB News Desk

Srinagar 07 September (KNB): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Vijay Kumar on Tuesday said that the mobile internet would be restored in Srinagar and Budgam districts of central Kashmir by 7 pm today.

IGP was quoted by Police saying that “Mobile internet will be open in Srinagar & Budgam today by 7pm.”

He further said that inconvenience caused to the students in their studies by the suspension of the internet is regretted.

However, the internet was snapped in the valley following the death of SAS Geelani on September Ist evening to prevent any untoward incident from unfolding.

It is pertinent to mention that IGP had yesterday said that they would review about the restoring of the internet in Srinagar and Budgam on Tuesday afternoon.  (KNB)
