Indian Army’s Cheetah Helicopter Crashes in Udhampur, 2 Pilots Injured

Srinagar 21 September (KNB): An Indian Army helicopter crashed on Tuesday in Dhar Shiv Garh area of Jammu’s Udhampur district, as per an official. 

The official said that the Indian Army’s Cheetah helicopter crashed in Udhampur district’s Dhar Shiv Garh area during which two pilots got injured. 

However, the injured pilots were later on shifted to hospital for treatment. 

Regarding the reason behind the incident, the official said that due to hazy conditions the cause behind the crash could not be ascertained immediately.

Pertinently, in August this year, Indian Army helicopter crashed in Ranjit Sagar Dam in Jammu after developing a technical snag. (KNB)
