Srinagar 21 September (KNB): Duo pilots, who received injuries on Tuesday in a helicopter crash accident in Udhampur district’s Dhar Shiv Garh area, died, as per an official.
The duo pilots had been injured after Indian Army’s Cheetah helicopter crashed in Udhampur’s Dhar Shiv Garh area and following that they were shifted to army hospital for treatment.
However, the injured pilots — Major Rohit Kumar & Major Anuj Rajput — later died from their injuries inflicted during the crashing of the chopper.
Earlier, the Indian army had said in its statement that the cause behind the incident could not be known immediately due to the hazy conditions in the area where the incident took place. (KNB)
