ADC Srinagar, Tehsildar South Visits Lal Chowk; Shops Not Adhering to Covid SOPs Sealed   

Srinagar 21 September (KNB): Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Srinagar, Syed Haneef Balki, and Tehsildar South on Tuesday visited to Lal Chowkl during which a number of shops were sealed after founding not adhering to Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB). 

During the visit to Lal Chowk, Balki apprised the shopkeepers about the importances of adhering to Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and advised them to provide shoppers with masks on finding them without the ones. 

The ADC along with Tehsildar south was seen stopping the pedestrians who were not wearing the masks and were provided the same, with ADC himself advising the people to not lose sight of the CAB. 

Balki emphasized on the drive to remain in the offing and said that people are only requested to put on their masks. “It is better to put on masks than to be lodged with FIR or shops getting sealed,” said ADC, Balki.

Replying to a question from reporters, Balki said that during the government functions, covid SOPs are being taken care of and such events are necessary in order to run the system. 

Balki emphasised that other things could be easily carried on without interruption when the masks are worn by everyone. He said covid SOPs should be followed and especially during gatherings. He further requested the people to adhere to the CAB in order to keep the worse situation at bay. (KNB)
