Srinagar 07 June (KNB): The Government on Monday said that 977 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 288 from Jammu division and 689 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 301467. Also 16 COVID-19 deaths have been reported, 07 from Jammu Division and 09 from Kashmir Division.
A statement issued to Kashmir News Bureau said that 4178 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 1178 from Jammu Division and 3000 from Kashmir Division.
It further said that out of 301467 positive cases, 23524 are Active Positive, 273853 have recovered and 4090 have died; 1988 in Jammu division and 2102 in Kashmir division.
“Out of 8887902 test results available, 8586435 samples have been tested as negative till 7th June, 2021,” it added.
Till date 2168272 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 80348 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 23524 in isolation and 146180 in home surveillance. Besides, 1914130 persons have completed their surveillance period. (KNB)
