Srinagar 13 January (KNB): India has reported 2,47,417 new cases of Covid19, with 380 covid19 fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,47,15,361 covid19 patients have recovered so far in the country and 84,825 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 11,17,531, which constitutes 3.08 percent of the total cases,” said the MoHFW.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 13.11 percent and weekly positivity rate remains at 10.80 percent.
The ministry further said that 154.61 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and 69.73 Cr. total tests have been conducted so far throughout the country.
However, till now the country has reported 5,488 omicron cases with 2,162 patients said to have been discharged/recovered. As per MoHFW, the highest number of omicron cases are in Maharashtra and Rajasthan at 1,367 and 792 respectively. (KNB)
