Shopian 11 June(KNB): Police in Shopian have registered a case against four individuals for reckless driving on the Mughal Road, a high-altitude route in south Kashmir.
The vehicle, a private car (JK22B-9503), was seized, and an FIR was filed under sections 281 and 125 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
The police investigation is ongoing, and further legal action is being taken.
The Senior Superintendent of Police Shopian emphasized the importance of road safety, especially on sensitive stretches like Mughal Road, and urged motorists to drive responsibly and follow traffic regulations.(KNB)
