Srinagar 04 October (KNB): India has reported 20,799 new cases of Covid19, with 180 covid fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,31,21,247 covid patients have recovered so far in the country and 26,718 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 2,64,458, which is the lowest in 200 days and constitutes 0.78% of total cases,” said the MoHFW.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 2.10 percent, a figure less than three percent for the last 35 days. “Weekly Positivity Rate remains 1.63 percent, which is less than 3% for the last 101 days,” it added.
The ministry further said that 90.79 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and 57.42 Cr total tests conducted so far. (KNB)
