Srinagar 04 October (KNB): A JCB rolled down from Srinagar-Leh highway into a river Sindh in Sonamarg area of Ganderbal district on Monday morning, during which the driver of JCB got injured, and another went missing.
The accident, as per official, occurred this morning after a JCB went down into a river Sindh in Ganderbal’s Sonamarg area in which the driver of the JCB inflicted injuries and his associate, a cleaner, went missing.
However, following the incident, a rescue team reached the spot of the incident along with a police team. After rigorous efforts, the driver of the JCB was retrieved from the river, but his associate could not be found immediately.
As per the official, the rescue operation is going on at the moment to find the missing one. (KNB)
