Srinagar 19 October (KNB): Chief of Army Staff General M M Naravane, who is on a 2 day visit to the Union Territory of J&K, on Tuesday took appraisal of the situation along Line of Control in Jammu division.
The Army Chief during his assessment of the situation along LoC was also apprised by army officers about the prevailing situation. On Naravane’s visit to UT J&K, he was also informed about present counter-infiltration operations.
In this regard, ADG Public Information of Indian Army said that General M M Naravane Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited forward areas of White Knight Corps & undertook a first-hand assessment of the situation along the Line of Control.
It was further said that the COAS was briefed by commanders on the ground about the present situation & ongoing counter-infiltration operations. (KNB)
