Srinagar 29 Oct(KNB): Unidentified gunmen, suspected to be militants, opened fire on a police inspector named Masood in the Eidgah area of Central Kashmir.
According to reports reaching to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB that, he was critically injured in the attack and swiftly shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
It is worth noting that Inspector Masood was stationed at the DPL (District Police Lines).
The authorities have cordoned off the entire area in an effort to apprehend the attackers.(KNB)
