JK Teachers Association in Baramulla Appoints New Leadership Team to Energize the District

Baramulla 29 October (KNB): JK Teachers Association District Baramulla, has announced its newly constituted District body during an extraordinary meeting held yesterday October 28.

In a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB said, The association’s aim is to reinvigorate its internal hierarchy and introduce fresh faces to the organization, emphasizing a commitment to serve with dedication.

According to the statement, The newly appointed members of the District body include Altaf Hussain Bhat, who has been nominated as the District President for Baramulla. Ishfaq Ahmad Shah has been elevated to the position of Provincial President for Kashmir.

Other notable nominations within the District body are Rafeeq Ahmad Lone as Patron, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat as District Vice President, Farooq Hussain Dar as General Secretary, Javid Iqbal as Finance Secretary, Gulzar Ahmad Mir as Convenor, Sajad Ahmad Bhat as Coordinator, Bilal Ahmad Lone as Organizer, Sayeed Ahmad Mir as Advisor, Mohd Imran Dar as Joint Secretary, Shabir Ahmad Malik as Media Secretary, Sameer Ahmed Khan as Public Secretary, Shakeel Ahmad Khawaja as Deputy Organizer, and Mukhtiyar Ahmad Qureshi as Deputy Coordinator.

Additionally, Avtar Krishan Bhatt has been nominated to lead the PM Package Employees wing, Anil Radha will head the Jammu Based Employees wing, Balvinder Singh has been appointed as the head of the Sikh Minority Wing, and Munnaver Hussain will lead the ST Employees wing.

Avtar Krishna Bhat has taken on the role of District Spokesperson, while Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat has been appointed as the District Media Advisor, in addition to their respective responsibilities within the association.

The reconstitution of the District body is seen as a necessary step to reactivate the teacher cadre, particularly in Baramulla, and to expedite efforts to address several pending administrative and service issues concerning the teacher fraternity. Statement further added (KNB)
