Two Kashmiri Youth to represent India at World Kick boxing Championship

Srinagar, October 27 (KNB) : Two Kashmiri Youth from Bandipora district are going to represent India at World Kick-boxing Championship, which will be held in November at Buenos Aires in Argentina.

Irshad Ahmad and Aabroo Bashir , hails from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district and have been selected to represent India at the World’s KickBoxing championship . The championship will be held in Argentina from November 5 to 12.




Irshad Ahmad – 25 , young and enthusiastic sports person who has  done Bachelors in Physical education and now pursuing Masters in Sports education has been practicing kickboxing since a long.

Aabroo Bashir – 14 , a young girl studying in 8th standard,  who has achieved herself a place in the World’s Kickboxing Championship 2018 by wining  gold medals at state and national level.

While talking to Kashmir News Bureau, Irshad said, “They are very happy and feel extremely proud to represent India in World Championship.

In a video message, Both the participants thanked Kashmir News Bureau Team and mentioned that KNB has always encouraged them for what they are doing

“This is a proud moment for us too, We also hope that many more young talent from the valley come forward and showcase their talent and Achieve what the deserve to achieve.” they said.

Important to mention here, Aabroo and Irshad qualified for World Championship by winning gold in state which was held at Indoor stadium  Srinagar and National Level Kickboxing competitions in Bihar , Patna.

Meanwhile both of them are in Delhi at the sports camp and are being taken care properly and being trained and will be leaving for Argentina after 5 days where the World Kickboxing Championship 2018 is being held. (KNB)
