Recruitment process is transparent: JK Bank Chairman

Srinagar 28 October (KNB): The Jammu and Kashmir bank Chairman reacts on a reports circulated on social media about illegal recruitment in jobs in the JK Bank, said the recruitment process adopted by the bank is absolutely transparent.


Taking on twitter J&K Bank Chairman  Parvez Ahmad said “Absolute transparency and fairness in the recruitment process. There is no scope of any tinkering in the merit list prepared by the reputed national level professional recruitment agency IBPS.

“Comments of the Hon’ble Governor have been quoted out of context by a newspaper. 582 candidates have been appointed by clearing the waiting list from the previous recutiment process on the account of vacancies arisen due to branch expansion in unbanked areas of J&K state.” He tweets.

Earlier, Reports were circuited on social media that  “Governor Satypal Malik has said that the  previous PDP-BJP Government changed the complete selection list of 582 candidates in Jammu and Kashmir Bank so as to appoint political workers at their place.”

However, reacting on it the J&K Bank chairman said that no such tinkering took place and the hon’ble governor had been quoted out of context. (KNB)
