Srinagar,June 22(KNB): A truck driver and a conductor had a miraculous escape after a truck, on its way from Srinagar to Bandipora lost the control turtles and rolled down deep into Baedkul Nallah in Ajas village of Bandipora district in North kashmir on Wednesday.
Earlier reports reaching KNB news agency said that a cement laden truck while plying on the road was on its way from Srinagar to Bandipora, skidded off the diversion constructed on the newly constructed bridge in Ajas a village in Bandipora district and plunged into Baedkul Nallah after the driver lost its control over the vehicle.
Quoting locals present on the spot swiftly came to action and rescued the duo who both are said to be safe and did not suffer any major injury.
Officials said they have taken the cognizance of the accident and prior investigation has been set forth into action.(KNB)
