Srinagar 23 February (KNB): A transmission tower of the Power Development Department (PDD) fell, during an ongoing snowfall, at the Balhama area of Pantha Chowk on Wednesday morning, resulting in damage to two vehicles.
Reports reaching KNB said that due to heavy snowfall, a transmission tower of PDD at Balhama village in Srinagar outskirts fell and wreaked damage to two vehicles, which included a tipper dumper bearing no. JK02BP 2513 and one plate farm vehicle bearing no. JK02AL 1648.
After the collapsing of tower, the road leading from Sempora to Khrew got blocked and it was said that there was no presence of any concerned authority at the spot following the incident.
It is pertinent to mention that there was no injury or loss of life reported during the incident. (KNB)
