Three Militants Killed in Pulwama Encounter: Police 

Pulwama 2 April (KNB): Three unidentified militants were killed in an encounter which started between militants and security forces in Kakapora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama on Friday early morning, said police. 

The encounter started in Pulwama’s Kakapora area when police and forces launched Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) at the suspected area which later turned into an encounter. After the hours of encounter, police confirmed that three unidentified militants have been killed.  

Police officials also said that the arms and ammunition have been recovered from the encounter site along with other incriminating materials.  

In an official announcement, police said that “03 unidentified militants killed. Incriminating materials including arms & ammunition recovered. Search going on.”

However, in the encounter, two civilians have also been injured and one among them is a girl, who received bullet injury during the clashes near the encounter site.

Pertinently, both the injured were later taken to a hospital for the treatment. (KNB)
