Srinagar 18 January (KNB): An abandoned bag found at Qamarwari area of Srinagar on Tuesday morning, leading to suspicion of it containing some explosive, was found empty.
As per reports, the bag was checked by a team of Bomb Disposal Squad after being found lying on the ground, raising suspicion of it having an explosive in it. However, the bag was found without any explosive fitted in after being checked by the BDS.
The incident comes days after a cooker was found in the Khawaja Bazar area of Srinagar, in which explosive was found and was later destroyed by BDS in-situ. (KNB)
