Srinagar 21 December (KNB): Suspected militants on Tuesday evening fired upon a team of police and CRPF at Soura area of Srinagar.
As per reports, the suspected militants, who were travelling in a vehicle, fired upon a team of police and CRPF while the personnel were busy in checking the vehicles at Naka point in the Soura area of Srinagar.
However, in the attack, no personnel have received injuries, whereas one of the suspected militants is believed to have been injured after retaliation by the forces. The suspected militants are said to have escaped following the attack.
The attack came after the one at Zewan area of Srinagar outskirts, recently, in which militants fired indiscriminately upon a police vehicle, resulting in the death of three cops, including ASI. (KNB)
