Student of the Year 2 stars Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday share their take on nepotism

May, 07: Nepotism has been the hotbed of a lot of debate in B-town. Recently during the promotions of Student of the year 2, Ananya Panday and Tiger Shroff opened up about their take on nepotism. Both the stars’ respective fathers are acclaimed actors of the industry and therefore they had to deal with questions related to the topic. Sharing their take on nepotism, Tiger and Ananya said that being a star kid has its own pros and cons.

During an interaction, Ananya averred that she believes that nepotism exists everywhere and not just in Bollywood. She also thinks that she and Tiger have forever lived in their dads’ shadows. Wherever they go, everyone just speaks about how warm their fathers are and how nice people they are. Therefore both the stars are really proud of their dads.

Furthermore, Ananya revealed that she doesn’t feel ashamed of who her dad is. She believes that it helps her to get access to meet people and after meeting those people whatever the result is, that solely depends on her and her talent.

Taking further what Ananya mentioned, Tiger said that there are pros and cons to everything. The pros are that people notice star kids faster and for which he is very grateful. Having said that, he also believes that now the pressure is double as the audience is looking at him with great expectations. He thinks that the biggest challenge for him is to create his own identity.

Helmed by Punit Malhotra and backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions ‘Student Of The Year 2’ is slated to release on May 10, 2019.
