‘Chief HM commander Saifullah was the person behind the killing of three bjp workers two days back’ says Dilbagh Singh 

Srinagar 1 November (KNB): Hizb-ul-Mujahideen Chief  Saifullah has been killed while his militant associate was arrested in midst of an encounter at Rangreth area of Srinagar district.

Chief commander of militant outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahideen was killed during the encounter and one of his militant associate was captured alive, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar confirmed.

After the killing of Reyaz Naikoo, Saifullah had taken over as the Chief of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen outfit.

Chief HM commander Saifullah was the person behind the killing of three bjp workers two days back. A very big success, J&k police DG Dilbagh Singh said.

Earlier, an official said that on basis of specific information about the presence of militants in the area, a Joint team of security forces including Special Operations Group (SOG) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) launched a cordon and search operation.

As the forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, which was retaliated, triggering an encounter. Exchange of fire is going on, Official said. (KNB)
