Srinagar 02 June (KNB): SP North Srinagar Mubashir and SHO Khanyar Parvaiz along with the team of police on Wednesday distributed masks in Khanyar area of Srinagar and appealed to people adhere to SOPs of Covid19 strictly.
To make people conscious of the Covid’s protocol and avert the risk of contracting the virus, SHOs of Nishat and Nowhatta were also seen dispensing masks among the general public in their own areas of jurisdiction.
Furthermore, SHOs of Kothibagh and Parimpora were also seen distributing the masks in their respective areas and adding their efforts to help people to remain at bay from the virus.
All the police officers emphasized on wearing masks before the people and follow the given guidelines to keep themselves and others safe from the deadly Coronavirus.
During the drive, SDPO Khanyar also gave out masks to people in Srinagar’s Nowhatta. The officer also requested the people to not lower guard against the Covid.
It is pertinent to mention in South Kashmir also police officers were also seen contributing their part in sensitizing the people about the importance of wearing masks and also distributed the same among the people of Litter, Achan, Naina and others areas. (KNB)
