Srinagar 02 June (KNB): Around 11 Covid fatalities have been reported to take place in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir since last night, which gives forth the total figure of death, 3950, due to Covid till now in UT.
As per officials, among the 11 deceased three have been reported to belong Srinagar, two south Kashmir and one from Central Kashmir’s Budgam. The other five among the total fatalities are from the Jammu division.
According to the official, the three deceased from district Srinagar are two males and one female, all three having age above 60 years. The other three deceased from South Kashmir and Budgam were in the Septuagenarian age group, as per officials.
It is pertinent to mention that among the 11 fatalities due to Covid in J&K, five are from the Jammu division. The age of the five deceased persons, as per the official, are falling in the different age groups of above fifty years. (KNB)
