Shopian 06 January (KNB): Locals of South Kashmir’s Shopian village killed a leopard after an attack on nine sheep in the area yesterday night.
According to the locals, the leopard was killed after it mauled nine sheep who belonged to one of the residents of Oudur village in Trenz belt of Shopian district.
However, as per officials, the leopard’s killing took place after retaliation by the locals, and the incident will be investigated. (KNB)
