Srinagar 6 April (KNB): In another fire incident on Tuesday in Srinagar’s Kawdara area, a three storey residential house caught fire in the afternoon, making it the third such occurrence in two consecutive days.
Fire in the house in Kawadara area took place on Tuesday afternoon following the one occurring in Srinagar’s Nawakadal in which scores of people got injured.
However, during the fire, electricity was not cutted off to the area of fire incident as the power lines were seen banging due to a short circuit which scared the nearby people who later ran for shelter, said locals.
To bring fire under control, the fire fighters later reached the spot of incident with three fire tenders and engaged in their efforts. (KNB)
