Srinagar 18 December (KNB): The sacrifices of martyrs in Kashmir is behind the popularity and acceptance of BJP stated BJP’s General Secretary and Kashmir Affairs Incharge Vibodh Gupta .
In a statement issued to Kashmir News Bureau, Gupta said that the people of Kashmir have accepted the vision and mission of Prime Minister of Narendra Modi.
“Today people have trust and acceptance on the party. It is only because our workers. Nation solutes their bravery, courage and stand with their families,” Gupta said.
As per the statement, He said that they were accepted in the Bijbehara with pro Indian slogans and hoisting of tri-colour flag by their people.
“People were happy while hoisting the Tri colour in Bejbehra in Mehbooba Mufti home town and sent a strong to message to anti national and separatist forces,” he said.
Gupta stated they even if grenade is hurled outside rally but that could not stop the enthusiasm of people.
“He urged police and other investigating agencies to probe the incident and nab the culprits and said that bumper polling was witnessed during the ongoing seven phases of DDC polls and have sent message of peace, development and prosperity,” read the statement.
“Gupta said that Kashmiri’s are fed up from ‘stone pelting’ & ‘violence’ and want to prosper and shine while ensuring development at grassroots level,” adding that there is Dal lake, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, bat industry, apple industry, saffron, pashmina and others but parties of PAGD had made Kashmir famous only for stone pelting and violence, the statement read.
Statement further read, “Gupta said that militancy in valley is on ‘death bed’ and people in a unanimous voice have rejected violence,” adding that NC, PDP and Congress like parties had distorted the image of Kashmir and had made it famous for ‘stone pelting’. (KNB)
