Ganderbal 18 December (KNB): The people of Bakura Aalesteng of district Ganderbal suffer from the water logging in their area, and the roads get inundated due to a slight rain. The waterlogging, accompanied by dilapidated roads, is adding to the local’s woe.

As per the residents of the Bakura, the people and vehicle have to wade through the water accumulated on the roads.
“The roads have converted into the river. No one is looking at this waterlogging, and we are suffering a lot due to it,” said a resident.

The locals also said that the large puddles on the roads are making it hard for commuters as well as the vehicle to reach their respective destinations.

They further said that elderly and children are suffering due the dilapidated condition of the road.
“Due to the bad road and the water-logging little children are not able to go out and reach their tuition centres. The elderly people are suffering as well,” said another resident.
