Robbers Flee With Rs 3.5 Lakh From Grameen Bank in Srinagar’s Outskirts

Srinagar 16 March (KNB): Robbers fled with around 3 lakh and fifty thousand rupees from a Grameen Bank in Srinagar’s Panzinara area on Tuesday. 

The incident happened when a three robbers, carrying guns with them, entered the Grameen Bank in the Panzinara area, falling in Srinagar’s outskirts and ran away with money tuning to 3.5 lakhs.

However, the incident came after a robbery of similar nature happened in North Kashmir’s Baramulla, where a Grameen bank was looted by the robbers who were carrying guns with them. 

Although in today’s robbery, police have started to look into the case and have taken up the investigation to arrest the robbers. 

It is pertinent to mention that a senior official had recently expressed his doubts about the fashion in which the robbery of Grameen bank occurred in north Kashmir just days ago. (KNB)
