Ganderbal 16 March (KNB): SSP Ganderbal, Khalil Poswal, on Tuesday, said that two youths belonging to the Batwina and Kurhama area of the district were stopped from joining the militancy who had left their homes for it.
Poswal confirmed the stopping of two youths from joining militancy on Tuesday by his tweet. He said that one of the youths is a resident of Batwina and another of Kurhama.
SSP Ganderbal confirmed it while tweeting that “Ganderbal Police succeeded in bringing back two youth hailing from Batwina and Kurhama, Ganderbal who had left home to join militancy.”
However, Poswal also said that the duo’s parents were unaware of the “clandestine activities” of both and added in his tweet that “parents unaware about their clandestine activities.” (KNB)
