Baramulla 13 Dec(KNB): DPAP General Secretary District Baramulla, Mir Tariq addressed the recent development concerning Article 370, highlighting the failure of previous political parties to safeguard it during their tenure. Mir expressed dismay over the current outcry by these parties following the recent verdict from the Supreme Court.
“It’s regrettable that these political parties failed to protect Article 370 when they had the opportunity during their governance. Now, they’re misleading the public with their cries, continuing to deceive them,” stated Mir Tariq
Mir urged the public to make informed decisions, emphasizing the need to distinguish between right and wrong. “It’s time for people to vote for development-focused leadership. Only Ghulam Nabi Azad is dedicated to such progressive politics,” he added.
He advocated for a shift towards a leadership that doesn’t engage in controversial politics. “Give a chance to the new leadership of Ghulam Nabi Azad, devoid of controversies, and solely dedicated to the development of the region,” said Mir.
Mir Tariq appealed to the people of J&K to prioritize development over rhetoric, emphasizing the importance of a progressive agenda for the upliftment of the region.(KNB)
