Srinagar 18 October (KNB): India has reported 13,596 new cases of Covid19, with 166 covid fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,34,39,331 covid patients have recovered so far in the country and 19,582 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 1,89,694, which is the lowest in 221 days and constitutes 0.56 percent of total cases,” said the MoHFW.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 1.37 percent, a figure less than three percent for the last 49 days. “Weekly Positivity Rate remains 1.37 percent, which is less than 3% for the last 115 days,” it added.
The ministry further said that 97.79 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and 59.19 Cr total tests have been conducted so far throughout the country. (KNB)
