Anantnag 20 Nov(KNB): A pre- dawn encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Cheki Dudoo Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
According to officials, on a specific input about the presence of militants in Cheki Dudoo area of Bijbhera, security forces launched a cordon and search operation.
The hiding militants fired upon the forces which was retaliated and triggering an encounter, they said.
