Bandipora 18 November (KNB): In an effort to reach out to the poverty-stricken people, Police launched a public outreach campaign under the Civic Action Programme of JK police, and distributed essential items to indigent families in Bandipora.
In the event organised at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium Bandipora, SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik (IPS) accompanied by DySP Hqr Bandipora and DSP Dar Bandiproa, distributed the neccesary items such as blankets and Covid-19 safety kits to 500 indigent families.
On the occasion, SSP Bandipora said that there is a need for sensitising the society of its responsibilities towards Covid-19 and particularly the needy and poor families.
The police are always available to provide any help for the indigent people, he added. (KNB)
