Grenade Attack in Pulwama, 12 Civilians Injured

Srinagar 18 November (KNB):Suspected Militants lobbed a grenade on Security forces in Kakapora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

A police official said that the militants hurled a grenade on joint team of Police and Central Reserve Police Force in Kakapora.
The grenade missed the intended target and exploded on road in which 12 civilians got injured, official added.

As per Kashmir News Bureau reports, among the 12 injured civilians 2 were referred to the Bone and Joint Hospital Srinagar, 4 civilians were referred to Government Sub District Hospital Pampore and other are being treated at Primary Health Centre Kakapora.

Officials said all of them are in a stable condition.

The 12 injured civilians have been identified as Raja begum, Shabir Ahmad Dar, Mushtaq Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad Dar, Gh Muhandin, Habib Ulla shiekh, Gh Nabi Shiekh, Suhail Ahmad, Abrar Dar, Bashir Ahmad are all residents of Kakapora, Adil Ahmad R/o Samboora and Amir R/o Uttar Pradesh.

Soon after the attack whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers, Police official said. (KNB)
