Police Busts Hideout in South Kashmir’s Awantipora

Awantipora 03 March (KNB): A hideout was busted by the police in South Kashmir’s Awantipora on Wednesday after a joint search operation was carried out by the police and the Army in the area.  

As per police, the operation by the joint team of police and army in the Seer/Patoona area of south Kashmir resulted in the busting of the Hizb ul Mujahideen (HM) militant outfit’s hideout.

In the hideout, which was later destroyed, the police claimed to have recovered incriminating things besides other items of food and utensils for preparing food.

Pertinently, the police also tweeted about the busting of hideout in the Awantipora and recovering of incriminating material.

However, FIR in the case has been registered in the Tral police station under relevant section of the law. (KNB)
