J&K Lt Governor Takes First Dose of Covid-19 Vaccine

Jammu 4 March (KNB): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha took his first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine today at Government Medical College and Hospital in Jammu division.

A tweet from the official account of Lt Governor said, “Today received First Dose of CovidVaccine at Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu.”
Through his tweet, Manoj Sinha further made an appeal and also said that taking the Jab will help in winning the fight against the deadly virus.

“My appeal to all eligible persons to get vaccinated too. This will help us to win fight against Covid-19 in J&K,” he said.

Moreover, the second phase of Covid-19 vaccination drive started on 1st March and people above 60 years and those aged above 45 years with comorbidities are eligible to receive the vaccination shots.

Furthermore, eligible people can register and book an appointment for vaccination online, using the Co-WIN 2.0 portal or through other IT applications such as Arogya Setu. (KNB)
