Pakistan-India Match: BCCI VP Rajeev Shukla Rests Clamour, Says Cannot Abandon Commitments

Srinagar 19 October (KNB): BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla has hinted that a cricket match between India and Pakistan is going to be played in the upcoming T20 world cup and said cannot abandon ICC’s commitments.

This was said by Rajeev Shukla in the wake of demands from people to cancel the match between India and Pakistan in the T20 world cup following the non-local civilian killings in Kashmir.

Amid clamour to cancel match between India and Pakistan, Rajeev Shukla rested the din by saying that they cannot pull out of the commitments made under ICC.

He said that under ICC commitments one cannot decline to play against any team.

However, Shukla also condemned the killings, which have taken place in Kashmir of late, in which civilians and non-locals workers were killed. (KNB)
