Shopian 25 June (KNB): One militant killed in the ongoing encounter in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday.
Officials said one unidentified militant has been killed in the operation at Hanjipora area of Shopian. The operation is still in progress and further details about the encounter will follow.
Earlier, official said that an encounter ensued in the area, after a cordon and search operation was launched by Police, Army’s 34 RR and CRPF, on basis of specific intel about the presence of militants there. (KNB)
