Srinagar 24 April (KNB): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday greeted all on the National Panchayati Raj day and said that he appreciates Panchayati Raj Institutions for protecting villages from Coronavirus and putting up a fight against Covid19.
LG said in his tweet that “Greetings to all on National Panchayati Raj Diwas, a unique occasion to recognise & acknowledge significant role played by all those who strive hard to strengthen PRIs for fostering democracy at grassroot level & empowering people towards building an Aatmanirbhar Jammu Kashmir.”
Sinha further said that he appreciate(d) the contribution of PRIs in the fight against COVID-19 and their efforts to protect the villages from coronavirus. (KNB)
